North St. Paul Basketball Association Polar Boys Traveling Basketball

This program is open to boys living in or attending school in Independent School District 622 (public, private or parochial). Our mission is to prepare young men for high school basketball while building their self-esteem and confidence. Our focus is development of fundamental skills, sportsmanship, and fun!

Traveling basketball is a level above the community-sponsored, recreational programs in several aspects:

  • There are more games and practices allowing boys to learn and develop fundamentals faster.
  • The competition at the traveling level is of a higher caliber.
  • Players’ skill levels and abilities are more developed making the games competitive and fun.
  • Each team plays in approximately 8-10 Weekend Tournaments
  • Financial assistance available through an application available at Traveling Basketball Scholarship Form. If you qualify for scholarship assistance—fill out the scholarship form before completing your registration and return the form and School District #622 Child Nutrition Free/Reduced verification letter via email to: and you will be issued a code to apply to your registration.

We make every effort to keep participation costs low! This is accomplished through FUNDRAISING! Player and family commitment to fundraising is required for the success of our program! The fundraising is also meant to be a fun “community building” time where we join together as Polar Families!

As families, we volunteer for shifts at our “home” tournaments, as well as supporting the players in other fundraising items.

Registration & Volunteer Fees

(payment plans available with online registration)
